ESSEX UNDISCOVERED 2017

Shakster Records is proud to host & compère the Chelmsford heats of Essex Undiscovered each year, with the semi-finals being held at The Cramphorn Theatre.

What is Essex Undiscovered?

Essex Undiscovered is a live music contest with prizes including industry showcasing, instruments, amplification and recording time.

Who can enter?

The contest is open to all ages, all types of artist and all genres of music.

CHELMSFORD SHAKSTER RECORDS VENUES

Currently promoting one-off live events at Bassment (Wells St, Chelmsford). Shakster Records has previously promoted live music at Hooga, The Fleece, Club Fusion, Underground, Hooga, The Globe, The Two Brewers, Shakey's Bar and Seabrights Barn. Seabrights has also been the host for the highly successful Seabrights three-day Festivals also promoted by Shakster Records and featuring over 20 music acts spread over three days.

If you are a local band or artist and would like to appear on a Shakster Records CD contact us today. Our annual CDs serve to promote local talent in the Chelmsford and Essex area and are sold in aid of charity. The Shakster CDs are also promoted once a year at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
